New Project Nearly Finished!

This is a sneak shot of a prototype part of a new project I’ve been working on which has a practical use and should be entering first testing over the next few days.  I’m expecting some minor changes to be needed, then it’ll go on public release!

Jet Set Willy 1980’s Sinclair Spectrum game character kit in his famous walking pose. Approx 7cm high when built.

The perfect nostalgia kit for your Dad to take him back to those 1980’s nights playing on his computer, combined with the patience and fun of building plastic model kits.

This version is a SELF-BUILD KIT (glue not included) which takes 5 minutes or less to put together. Designed with ease of build in mind, each piece has different fittings to make building it correctly completely foolproof.

It’s my unique 3D printed design, and not available elsewhere –

Jet Set Willy – First Print

This is my latest design, Jet Set Willy.  If you’re too young to know who he is, ask your Dad!

Jet Set Willy is a character from the 1980’s Sinclair Spectrum game of the same name.  Back when graphics were made up of small blocks, he is an accurate representation of the 2D graphic into 3D form.

This is the first test print, a couple of things I’m not 100% happy with, so a little bit of re-design is in progress to get him perfect 🙂

Steampunk Octopus Phone Holder

Here is my first self-modelled offering, standing at 8cm high and roughly 12 cm long/wide, a Steampunk Octopus Phone Holder.
Available in my Etsy shop – use the discount code FACEBOOK until the end of July for 20% discount!

Soldering Fingers Remix

The original Soldering Fingers posted on Thingiverse was great ( but it had potential to be something more.

By adding a wall at the front and storage tubes at the back it also became somewhere to pop those little items that go missing during a build, and the common bits you’re using in your screwdriver.

Ender 2 / Ender 3 Belt Tensioner

Ender 3D printer upgrade – Belt Tensioner

When I extended the bed on my printer I found I had made the belt slightly longer than necessary, and the Y-motor and stock tensioner were at their limits.

I wanted adjustable tensioners anyways, so came up with this design which has a good scope for belt travel.

Ezeelayer Layered Cocktail Shot Tool

Cocktail Shot Layering Tool

The Ezeelayer is an adjustable tool for creating layered cocktail shots.

Simply pour your first drink into the glass, clip the glass support on at the height of the drink and pour the next drink in…. it will sit nicely on the surface of the previous drink without flowing down the side and mixing in.

Want more layers? Repeat the process 🙂

I’m pleased to announce the launch of my new product – Framed Lithophanes!

Printed on a 3D printer which has been specially upgraded and tuned just for printing Lithophanes.
